1. Went over Isana's blog
2. Review problems from homework- page 15 Simple Stoich
1A.
5molsMnO2 4molHCl =20 mols HCl
1molMno2
1C.
.0856molsMnCl2 2molH20 =.1712 mols HCl
1molMnCl2
2A. FeS+2HCl-->FeCl2+H2S
2B.
6.25molsFeS 2molsHCl =12.5 mols HCl
1molFeS
3. Explained format for the next 8 quizes. Quizzes will be 5 points each totaling 40 points for all 8 quizzes. You can either get a 0 or a perfect score of 5 on the quizzes. Once you recieve a perfect score on a quiz, you will automatically get a perfect score on the rest of the quizzes. If you don't get a 5 out of 5 on any of the quizzes you will have to take a 9th quiz instead of the unit test. If you don't get a 5 out of 5 on the 9th quiz, you have to take a 10th and so on until you receive a perfect score.
4. Took Quiz on mole to mole stoichiometry
5. Took notes on the second page of Stoichiometry Notes on mole to gram conversions.
6. Picked up page 18 for homework

1. Grabbed 2 Sandwich Stoichiometry pages and 1 formulas review page in beginning of class
2. We reviewed Molly's blog
3. We went over Mol Stations Calculations from Wednesday's lab
Number 3 from Set 2 - # of moles in Aluminum foil
1.00 g Al x 1 mol Al
---------- = .0371 mol Al
26.98 g Al
Numbers 2 and 3 from Set 4- # of moles of Krypton in our graduated cylinder
2.7 x 10^14atom Kr 1 mol Kr
x --------- =4.5 x 10^-10 mol Kr
6.02 x 10^23 atoms Kr
Mass of Krypton in our graduated cylinder
2.7 x 10^14atom Kr 1 mol Kr 83.78 g Kr
x --------- x ------------- = 3.8 x 10^-8 g Kr
6.02 x 10^23 atoms Kr 1 mol Kr
